I’m Courtney, a UX designer with a background in psychology, a love for people, and a knack for making the complex feel clear. A systems-thinker at heart, I’m always curious about the why behind the what, and passionate about crafting designs that feel intuitive and engaging.
Originally on track to become a clinical neuropsychologist, I pivoted after my science degree to follow a lifelong passion: creativity and design. This led me to complete a Master’s in UX Design earlier this year, proudly graduating with top marks. Alongside my UX skills, I bring strong graphic design expertise – crafting clean, compelling visuals and polished interfaces that elevate user experiences and communicate brand values effectively.
Empathy
Curiosity
Clarity
Warmth
<-- my core design values
My work sits at the intersection of empathy, structure, and creativity. Whether I’m conducting user research, prototyping, or shaping visual hierarchies and typography, I love turning big, messy problems into organised, meaningful experiences that delight users and support business goals.
I’ve been the go-to person for design and tech help among my people for years, and I bring that same approachable, collaborative energy to every team I join. Warmth, thoughtfulness, and a dry sense of humour are my defaults, balanced by diligence, attention to detail, and a relentless work ethic.
Above all, I care deeply about the people I design for and the teams I collaborate with. Whether I’m untangling user flows, synthesising insights, or crafting visual solutions, I show up fully with curiosity, care, and a commitment to continuous growth.
